The Fun Begins

Well it has FINALLY begun! We started the house today and I can not tell you how excited we are! I know a lot of yall have been wanting pictures of the progress...so here they are.

Yesterday we had our tracker guy come out and do the scrap of the lot. The first picture you see is the final product of his work. Today we meet the form setters at 7:30 this morning and they work on setting everything up. We also had dirt delivered, so our tracker guy was also out there to spread the dirt around.

I found it very interesting to watch the progress of the house. Of course Brad had to explain everything to me as it was happening, but I learned a lot today! It doesn't really seem like a house in a few months is going to be built in just a few short months. It is crazy to try and picture it on the somewhat empty lot.

This next week the plumbers are coming out and we also have to get it inspected by the city before we can pour the slab. We are planning on doing that sometime early next week. More pictures will be following shortly!
