A Lazy Saturday

Well, as you know, Brad got me a day at the spa for my birthday. So, on Saturday I actually had my appointment and went for a VERY relaxing morning!

When I first got there, I was told to change into this robe and slippers. After changing, I was told that they would be starting my day with an one hour prenatal massage. I was led into this gorgeous room that had candles lit all around and peaceful music playing in the background. The actually massage felt amazing! When the time was up, I really did not want to move!

Then the lady led me into the next room where I received my first facial ever. This was actually an interesting experience. She did some weird things (like pulling my hair at one point) that I first questioned, but turned out to feel so darn good! I guess she did know what she was doing.

After I was done with my facial, it was right around lunch time. They served me lunch (a chef salad and some more orange juice) and just let me hang out for about 30 minutes.

Then I was swept away again to finish out the day with a hot stone pedicure and a manicure. Amazing! The pedicure felt so good! I never thought that hot stones on your feet could actually be so pleasurable! Who would have thought...

Then it was time to change back into my own clothes. But at this point I was so relaxed that all I wanted to do was head home and take a three hour nap. Which Brad and I actually did once he got home from work. :)

It was a very enjoyable day, and I owe it all to my wonderful husband!
