Brad and I have been trying to find a new church home since last September. After several months of searching, we decided that Cypress United Methodist Church was our new "home." So, this past weekend we meet with the pastor and talked about joining.

This was important for us to do before Peanut arrives. A few short months after Peanut is born, we really want him/her to be baptized. We didn't want to do this in "any" church, but one that meant something to us as a family.

This church in particular has wonderful youth activities/bible studies and the people are always welcoming. Every time we go to church, I am not only reminded of all the wonderful things in my life, but I am also forced to think about the areas in which I could improve on. This is exactly what I believe church is all about.

This month, Brad and I are starting a new chapter in our lives, and we know we will have to turn to God for guidance. With this exciting change in our lives, it is comforting to know that God will be there guiding us with every step.
