One More Step

Each week, Brad and I get a little more "prepared" for Peanut's arrival. This week, our goals are to get the stroller/car seat, and starting making the letters for both the girl and boy names.

So far, we have accomplished one of those tasks...thanks to K-Dan and Gigi! On Monday, they told us to go out and buy our stroller system on them. They were wanting to surprise us with it one day, but since my mom is still not up to running a marathon just yet...they decided it would be easier if we just picked it up ourselves.

So, yesterday night Brad and I made a date out of going to Babies R Us and Target. Since my school gave me a gift card to Target, we decided to get the thermometer, changing pad, and of course an adorable blanket that says "Peanut" on it.

Then it was off to Babies R Us for the highlight of the evening...getting Peanut's car seat! I know this is not exciting to most people, but it was to us. It means that we are one step closer to the big date. One more thing checked off the "To Do" list. Thank you K-Dan and Gigi for making this happen! You don't know how much we appreciate everything yall do for us!

Brad was not very happy when he learned he had to assemble yet another baby item. He was looking forward to pulling the stroller out and start playing with it.



It didn't take much time though...I am sure Brad was happy about that!

We are ready for Peanut now!


I am trying to figure out how to fold it up...it is much easier than I made it out to be.
