Rudder's Knee Injure

On our way home from Ladd and Ashley's wedding, Brad asked me if I had put the camera in the car. I didn't.... Long story short, we left it at the reception and Ladd's Dad has it back in Taylor. Ladd and Ashley are going up there soon and will bring it back to us, but the problem is they aren't going until AFTER Easter. Which sucks for us...but what are you going to do???

With that said, I can't post the most current pictures, so I thought I would post the pictures of the day when Rudder tore his ACL.

Here is Rudder after playing Frisbee (apparently it is already torn here). You can tell that he is tired! This is the last time he will be able to play.

He tore his ACL on Friday afternoon and on Saturday we took him to the vet and this is what we saw...As you can see, he has no ACL. His joints were rubbing bone to bone....ouch! The vet told us that he would have to have surgery so he could rebuild his knee. So, he sent us to an anamial specialist that would perform the actual surgery.

We took Rudder in yesterday and he had this surgery this morning. A few hours ago, the doctor call to tell us that everything went very well. Hopefully everything will be okay and he will be "good as new" in a few months. Our poor puppy dog!!! :(

While we were at the park that Friday afternoon, we of course had to take some pictures of our beautiful baby girl. She just loves the park! :)

Rudder will be coming home tomorrow. I will keep everyone posted on how he is doing. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers!
