A Wonderful Mother's Day

This morning, I woke up to bouquet of flowers that "Avery" had gotten me and the smell of coffee being brewed in the kitchen. What a great way to be woken up! After having a cup of coffee on the back porch, we decided that we would go to breakfast at I-Hop before church. So we got dressed and headed out. I thought it would be crowed, but they did a great job getting people in a seated as fast as they could.

Then it was off to church for a special service. This week the church is celebrating its 50th anniversary. We had a guest preacher this morning who did an amazing sermon. I absolutely LOVE our church!

Avery was tired so we came home for a few hours so she can a nap. While she was sleeping, Mommy went to Target to get a couple of things. One of the item I HAD to buy was a pair of sunglasses for Avery. Since she was still asleep when I got home, Brad decided to try them out on Rudder.


Then it was out again to run a few errands (mommy wanted some new clothes) and drop off Gigi's gift. While we were out in Katy, I wanted to eat at Cheddars since I don't live in College Station anymore and can't eat there whenever I want to.

After lunch, we were really wanting to go swimming so we headed over to Ladd's pool. I think Avery had a pretty good time.


Back home, we played with Greyson for a few miutes before taking a bath and going to bed.

I had a GREAT first Mother's Day. Now I am off to get my last present of the day... a back massage from Brad. :)
