However, the other week Brad was up at the lake house with my mom when they heard this faint meow on the front porch. Long story short, Brad went up into the attic and found this little kitten that had fallen about 18 feet and was now stuck in a stucco column.
After a couple attempts, Brad was able to lower a bucket and pull the kitten up in it. He never thought that this cat would eventually become his.
The more we thought about it, we just had to keep this little kitten. It was an incredible story to tell Avery one day. A few days after Brad saved this little kitten, we decided to take him home and let him be Avery's kitty cat.
Because Brad found him in a stucco colum, he decided to name him Stucco. I LOVED the name. I thought it was so adorable and it just fits him!
I took him to the vet last Monday and they told be he was between 5-6 weeks old, 1.02 pounds and perfectly fine. They tested him for all kinds of things just to make sure he was okay to be around Scottie and Rudder. I didn't want him to "see" them until I knew he didn't have any diesieses.
Once I got the okay from the vet, Brad and I introduced Stucco to Scottie. At first, Scottie didn't want anything to do with him, but after 10 minutes, that all changed. They are the best of friends now. All they do is run around the house and play.
As for Rudder, Stucco is not so sure of him. I think it is a little scary to look up at a dog that is about 30 times your size. They will eventually become friends I know, it just take a little time.
So now, our family consistes of 2 girls, 2 cats, 1 dog and then poor Brad. A house full of cats and females! :)

Cute story and what an adorabl little kitten! The name is perfect!!!! Our households match now...as far as the people and animal ratio! We have as many animals as we do humans living all under the same roof! Lots of fun though!!!!
This is so precious! I'm slightly partial to cats :)
It looks like Stucco is the mini-me version of Scottie! Hopefully Stucco will be aloud to eat more than once a day at 4:45!
Not what I was expecting, but cool story! Like Lauren said, it's ironic the kitten looks so much like your first cat. Did you try to find the owner?
