Well, here goes nothing...

Taylor sent out an e-mail the other day saying she has updated the Coker blog and that made me start thinking that I should have a Jameson blog. With such a big family and it growing every day, I think this is a great way to stay in touch with everyone. That way I will be able to type it once and everyone will able caught up on the news at the same time. Brilliant Taylor!

Brad is hard at work trying to finish up the second section of his neighborhood. He just got power to all the houses and will finish the section within the next couple of weeks. Then it is on to section three. I am really proud of him. He is doing such an amazing job and I know it will all pay off in the end. The company has also seen how hard he has been working...last month he received "Employee of the Month". He got a little plaque and everything for his dedication to the job.

Not only is he trying to close section two of the neighborhood, but he is also hard at work with building our house. Right now we are putting all the bids together and drawing up a contract for the bank. After that is all done, hopefully it will not take too long to process so we can pour the slab in late August. I feel like we have been in the planning stage forever and I am ready to "get the show on the road." Brad keeps telling me it will be worth the wait...

As for me...I am loving the summer break. You would think I am incredible bored here with nothing to do, but that is not the case. I have found stuff to keep me busy...like going to professional development classes, reading up on vocabulary development and playing golf. Thats right...I said golf. I know, I know me playing golf is funny, but it is actually true. And I am pretty good if I say so myself! Brad is enjoying the fact that his wife is not only playing golf but can play a decent game. He gets so happy every time we go play a round.

Although I am enjoying the summer break, I am ready to go back. I can't wait to start setting up my classroom and decorating it like I want. We can actually go up there the beginning of next week to start working in our rooms. I plan on going up there on Tuesday or Wednesday since it is our one year wedding anniversary this weekend and Brad is taking Monday off to celebrate. He has something planned, but I am not quite sure what.

Well, I guess I am off to gather up some paper work that the bank needs for the construction loan. Until next time...

Rags...it is so good to be able to hear about your classroom. I am so excited that I will be able to have my very own classroom in a year. I can't wait to see you this weekend. Give my love to Brad and Rudder.
