Waiting

Nobody ever tells you that waiting can be one of the hardest things you will have to do. As some of you know, Brad and I have been trying to get pregnant for a couple of weeks now. We still do not know if God has given us a precious gift or not. Everyday, I am constantly thinking about it...wondering about it. Only time will tell, and until then all I can do is pray that everything will work out for the best. I have to keep telling myself that God has a plan for me and my family. My job is to follow him and trust in him.

Other than waiting and wondering...life is great. Yesterday, Brad and I uncovered our fall decorations from storage and spent a couple of hours last night putting everything up. I just LOVE this time of year. As I am sitting here, I smell the sweet scent of my pumpkin candles burning as Brad and I watch a football game on TV. Outside the weather is becoming cooler each day and the thought of the upcoming holidays brings a smile to my face. As I look around, I am grateful for all the wonderful things this time of year brings.
