Well, it has been a hectic week or so. We are now in the short little stretch of finishing the house. The move-out date is February 28-29 which means the house MUST be done by then or we are homeless!
Everything is going pretty smoothly though. It is now completely painted, marble is in, light fixtures are halfway there, and the tile guy starts on Wednesday. It seems like we have a whole lot to go still...but really we don't. In a few short weeks, the house will actually be done!
I am just ready to have this house done with and moved in!
As for everything else in our lives...it is going pretty well. My Dad's 59th birthday was Saturday and we went up to College Station to celebrate with the family. It was good to hang out with the family and to just have a break from the house for a little while.
I think my Dad really enjoyed his birthday, at least I hoped he did.
On Wednesday, I should have more pictures of the baby since we are going in for our second ultra sound with the doctor. I am excited to see how much the baby has grown. The doctor will be able to find out if it is a boy or girl, but we are not going to.
So far, it has been easy not knowing what sex the baby is, but it might get a little harder in the next couple of weeks since I will be able to know now. I am just looking forward to the birth and the greatest surprise God could give me.
Well, I am off to do some laundry and maybe exercise a little before I head to bed. I have such an exciting day of jury duty tomorrow, and I don't want to be tired! You all can be jealous now...
