Avery is not quite 2 weeks old, but we went to the doctor today for her check-up anyways. They had to do the second round of newborn tests as well.
Everything was just fine. She now weighs 7 pounds 5 ounces and is 20 inches long. It is amazing to see just how much she has grown in one short week!
The doctor will send the test results in the mail in about a week or two, but she said there was nothing to worry about since everything looks completely normal. The doctor was especially happy to see the pink color of Avery's skin and her belly button rash/scab free.
The next time we have to go back is in 2 months for her normal check-up and the first round of shots. I don't think Avery will be enjoying that doctor's visit! :(
