Yesterday was a very long and tiring day. The people we hired to help us did most of the moving, while Brad and I did the last minute packing. One of the guy's wife was also here helping us and whenever I would pick up ANYTHING, she would start screaming at me (I swear she was cursing me out in Spanish). The only thing I could understand was "No, No, No...bambino, bambino!" That lady cracked me up all day.
I am just glad that we are all moved in and now all we have is the unpacking. Everyone better keep their calendars clear around the last weekend in March (hopefully I will have "everything" done by then) for the house warming party we are throwing. Really it is just an excuse to get everyone together and have some fun. So, you better be there! More details to come...
Waking up this morning in my new master bedroom was a very weird feeling. When we drove past the empty lot around this time last year, I never thought I would actually waking up in my own house. It is such a surreal feeling to know that Brad and I did "this" together.
Now, as I sit here in my new study...I am so thankful for everything God has given me. A wonderful and loving husband that will always take care of me, a gorgeous new house, and the best gift of all...a little one on the way.
